The Truth Revealed – Final Fantasy X
Accompanied by one of the best pieces of music in the game (titled: the truth revealed), brilliant game moment is when Yuna and her party discover that the final Aeon is a lie, that her father; Lord Braska, died for nothing but continuing the cycle of death, which ultimately reveals how Tidus’ father; Jecht, became Sin; the huge over-worldly entity that threatens everything.
Not only does it show all this in a such a small space of time, it a few moments later (after the battle with Lady Yunalesca) we learn that Auron is an unsent! Too many reveals all rolled into one amazingly powerful moment and from this moment on, the characters realise that they must break the cycle and find a new way to defeat Sin.
After this the game changes format and instead of following a linear path across Yuna’s pilgrimage, we are given an airship and can go anywhere we want, working towards the final section of the game.
